Job Description
This leading company in the financial sector is hiring an experienced in-house lawyer to advise management and business units on a broad range of securities and commercial legal matters. Reporting to the head of legal you will assist in advising on brokerage matters and wealth management products, drafting and reviewing transactional documents, liaising with regulatory bodies and co-ordinating complex transactions and major contentious matters with external counsel.
To qualify you should be admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong or another commonwealth jurisdiction with at least 5 years' pqe in-house in the financial services industry. A strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations is necessary for this role, as are strong written and spoken skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. In addition, this role would be ideal for a candidate who is a self-starter and can demonstrate good inter-personal and communication skills.
