Job Description
This fast growing and market-leading company is seeking a senior in-house lawyer as head of its legal and compliance function. Working closely with senior management you will oversee the day-to-day legal affairs of the company (from general commercial matters, corporate M&A, strategic activities, dispute resolution, risk management, compliance and corporate governance) and develop strong relationships with business leaders. The successful candidate would also become company secretary and provide training on legal and regulatory matters to staff and affiliates.
Candidates should have excellent academics and be qualified to practice law in the PRC with at least 5 years’ PQE serving as in-house counsel of an international company, or commercial lawyer in an international law firm or top tier PRC law firm (with international experience). Experience should be broad in nature, covering contracts, regulatory matters, tax, litigation and commercial matters. Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English are essential.
