Recently, I had to return to the Philippines, where my family resides, to assist in caring for my elderly grandmother and my father, who has been facing deteriorating health issues. I am the eldest of two siblings and, despite living in Hong Kong, I take on the role of caregiver whenever possible. This new responsibility has given me a deeper understanding of the daily challenges my family members face in my absence.
