Every child in a loving family - Star Anise visits Mother's Choice Child Care Home

The team at Star Anise recently visited Mother's Choice Child Care Home in Bowen Road, Central for the very first time.

Lily Ng, the Director of Communication & Philanthropy of Mother's Choice, gave an excellent introductory presentation to the team about the organisation’s background history, and how they had changed and adapted to society's needs over the years since it was launched over 30 years ago. The team was also given the chance to visit the area where the babies and toddlers were being looked after by the staff and volunteers.

“This visit was an excellent opportunity for the Star Anise team to see at first hand how an NGO, such as Mother’s Choice, have made and continue to make such a valuable and much needed contribution to the local community. We were humbled to hear about their work that not only helps mothers, but also parents, parents to be, foster parents and babies/children. The whole Team really appreciated the visit and it increased their interest in volunteerism generally” said Annie Tang, Managing Director of Star Anise Legal.
