Hong Kong Fintech Week 2024 shows Hong Kong as world class leader

Hong Kong, 29 October 2024 – Hong Kong Fintech Week 2024, a world-class forum gathering industry players from established banks and payment companies to start-up and high growth companies working in the defi space was officially launched on 28 October 2024. This year’s event, co-organized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and InvestHK, has drawn over 30,000 attendees from more than 100 economies, making it a truly global gathering of fintech innovators.

The ninth edition of Hong Kong Fintech Week, held at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo, featured hundreds of distinguished speakers and numerous exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain such as the Solana Foundation and 1 Inch, a non-custodial decentralized exchange (DEX) and DEX aggregator. The event provided a platform for sharing innovative ideas, exchanging fintech experiences, and forging valuable business partnerships.
