Star Anise Group participates in the Hong Kong Legal Walk 2023

HONG KONG, [13 November 2023] — the Star Anise group is pleased to announce its participation in the Hong Kong Legal Walk 2023 on Friday 10 November 2023. Team members representing the sister companies Star Anise Legal (legal and compliance recruitment consulting), Yuzu (flexible law services), and Star Anise Leadership & Training (SALT), commenced from the Big Wheel at Cental Pier, walking along the harbourfront to Oxford House in Quarry Bay, a distance of 5.52 miles in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The Hong Kong Legal Walk is a community event that unites the Hong Kong legal profession in the common causes of charity and service to local communities. Teams are invited participate in the walk on any day from 10 October – 29 November, with participants free to choose the route and walk timing of their choice.
This year, the walk aims to raise funds and awareness for four highly deserving charities: Mind HK, Eye Fund, Equal Justice Hong Kong, and Justice Without Borders, although since the announcement of the HK Legalwalk earlier this year, Eye Fund has since closed down. These organisations work tirelessly to promote mental health awareness, improve access to justice, and ensure that migrant workers who have suffered labour exploitation and human trafficking receive the legal support they deserve.
Co-founder of the Star Anise group, Annie Tang, expressed her enthusiasm for the business's ongoing commitments to the cause, “We are honoured to be part of the Hong Kong Legal Walk 2023.
