Global law firm DLA Piper whistles the tune with Star Anise legal recruitment

General Counsels and senior in-house lawyers from a range of industries in Hong Kong recently attended the DLA Piper employment roundtable discussion to gather tips and exchange ideas in the handling of corporate whistleblowing complaints. This marked the second legal practice seminar jointly hosted between DLA Piper and leading Asia legal recruitment firm Star Anise.

Led by partner and head of Employment, Asia, Julia Gorham and Consultant employment specialist Anita Lam, the roundtable discussion drew on DLA Piper’s experience in assisting multinational corporations in providing practical tips in handling whistleblowing complaints. Guests were able to learn of the best practices for whistleblowing policies and reporting, to understand the difficult issues in dealing with complaints and how to implement a strategy to deal with whistleblowing situations.
