Star Anise at the EMerging Talent Internship Recognition Event 2022
Leading legal recruitment agency, Star Anise, participated in the Zubin Foundation EMerging Talent Internship for the first time this year. With its long term commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in its own workplace, this was a great way for the company to support ethnic minority students emerging through Hong Kong's education system.
At the Recognition Event, Ricky CHU Man-kin (EOC Chairperson) and Shalini Mahtani (Founder and CEO of The Zubin Foundation) thanked all the participating companies for supporting ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. Co-organised by EOC and Zubin Foundation, the Recognition Event took place at the premises of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. A significant benefit of internships is that they give an opportunity for ethnic minority youth to explore different career options. Besides, internships allow employers to gain insight into Hong Kong's ethnic minorities and their lives and aspirations.
Our summer interns, Kithir Mohamed Hallaji Abdul Gaffar (Hallaji) and Nazahat-Riaz (Naz) joined Star Anise as Marketing, Research, and Administrative Interns through the Zubin Foundation EMerging Talent Internship Project.
