Star Anise co-hosts legal employment seminar with Magic Circle law firm in Hong Kong

On Thursday, 12 October 2017, Clifford Chance and leading Hong Kong legal recruitment firm Star Anise co-hosted a lunch seminar entitled “Social Media Discovery” at the Magic Circle firm's offices in Jardine House, Hong Kong. The event was attended by over 100 senior in-house lawyers (ACC Members). Annie Tang (Managing Director of Star Anise Legal) moderated an interesting discussion between Anita Lam (Head of Employment, Clifford Chance) and Rachel Cheng (Senior Associate, Clifford Chance).
The hot topics for discussion included discovery tools available for use in employment disputes and investigations, the legal implications of using such tools, and considerations when formulating social media policy. Attending in-house counsels were encouraged to take part in these discussions and share their thoughts and experiences, as well as raise burning questions on these topics.
